Anthony Roel Garza Jr.

Anthony Roel Garza Jr., 19, of Bryan, Texas went into the arms of the Lord Monday, April 8, 2024 with his family by his side. A Visitation is set for Friday, April 12, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm, with a wake service starting at 6pm, all in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 10am, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Sulamita Iglesia Evangelica; with burial to follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Born June 2, 2004, he was the son of Anthony Roel Garza Sr. and Juana Iris (Lopez) Rivera. He graduated from Rudder High School in May of 2023. Anthony was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend. He was a kindred spirit who found joy in caring for and giving to others. Anthony was a bright-light, wise beyond his years, non-judgmental, and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved to spread the word of God to his siblings, family, and everyone around him. He was a true embodiment of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Nellie Samarrippas; two great aunts, Amelia Lopez and Amanda Ayala; and two cousins, Celeste Catherine Ramirez and Evan Trapolino.

Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father, Anthony Garza Sr. and step-mother, Alyson Martin whom had siblings, Logan, Braylon, and Aleana Garza. His mother, Juana Rivera and his step-father, Daniel Rivera whom had sisters’ Sofia, Adriana,and Elena Rivera; as well as, numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Anthony will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
